About Lytle, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

With only about 2,500 residents, Lytle is a small city found in portions of Medina, Bexar, and Atascosa counties. This Texas community is part of the San Antonio Metro Statistical Area, and it is conveniently located along I-35 at exit 131. Major cities are located nearby, including San Antonio to the northeast 25 miles and Laredo 133 miles to the south. Lytle was founded by Captain John T. Lytle in 1882 after a rail station was built in the area, but it wasn’t incorporated until 1951.

As a small community, there are only a few notable things to see when visiting Lytle. There are a couple of historical sites in the community that can teach visitors more about the history of the region, including the Benton City Institute and the Immaculate Conception Church. Specialty shops in the area include The Vape House, Pyron’s, and El Buffalo Pawn, among others. If you are looking to spend some time outdoors, trips to Veterans’ Park or John Lott Municipal Park might be in order. Fortunately the community is located near other major cities, so some of the state’s greatest attractions are only a short drive away.

Lytle residents will need to invest in both home heating and air conditioning systems to stay comfortable throughout the year. From late December to early March, residents might need to utilize their home heating system, especially overnight. Daytime highs in the 60s are common, and while this is a major perk of living in the area, temperatures will drop to the 30s overnight. On the other hand, summer weather can be dangerously hot, with high temperatures easily exceeding 100 degrees. During these months, it is imperative that residents have access to a cool place to live, especially during the hottest afternoon hours, and HVAC technicians work around the clock to ensure Lytle area residents stay safe with reliable systems.
