What Is The Service Call Fee For Residential HVAC Diagnostics?
Lonestar Comfort Services offers a transparent $59 service call for all residential heating and cooling diagnostics. To provide the best value to our customers, we waive this $59 fee entirely if you move forward with any same-day repair suggested by our HVAC technicians!
Which Residential HVAC Systems Do You Service?
Our licensed and certified heating and cooling technicians are trained to service all major brands and types of home comfort equipment, including central air conditioners, gas furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini splits, and indoor air quality systems. We handle everything from minor issues to emergency services.
How Do I Know If My HVAC System Needs Professional Service?
Common red flags include inconsistent temperatures between rooms, strange noises (grinding, squealing, or banging), unusual odors, and sudden increases in your utility bills—which nobody wants! If your system is running constantly but failing to reach the temperature set on your thermostat, it is time to call our licensed HVAC professionals who can diagnose and resolve the issue promptly and efficiently.
What Are The Benefits Of Enrolling In A Preventative HVAC Maintenance Plan?
Regular HVAC maintenance is the best way to prevent the need for costly emergency repairs. Our seasonal tune-ups ensure your system operates at peak efficiency, extends the lifespan of your equipment, and keeps you compliant with manufacturer warranties. Plus, maintenance customers often enjoy priority scheduling and discounts on repairs, along with many other great perks!
How Long Does A Typical Residential HVAC System Last?
On average, a well-maintained air conditioner or heat pump lasts 10 to 15 years, while a furnace can last 15 to 20 years. If your system is over a decade old and requires a repair that costs more than half the value of the unit, we typically recommend a full replacement to take advantage of modern energy-efficient technology.
Is The $59 Fee Waived If I Choose To Replace My System?
Yes! If our diagnostic reveals that your system needs to be replaced rather than repaired, and you choose to install a new system, we will apply the diagnostic fee toward your new equipment installation.
